The HSR context

Care that fits how HSR actually lives.

A tech-corridor population

HSR Layout houses a large share of Bangalore’s IT and startup workforce. Many adult children work long or unpredictable hours at nearby offices on Sarjapur Road and Outer Ring Road, which is why daytime and live-in cover for parents is in steady demand across all seven sectors.

Gated apartments, older BDA houses

Sector 1 and 2 still have a good number of original BDA-allotted independent houses, while Sectors 4 to 7 have filled in with gated apartment complexes over the last decade. A caregiver placed in an independent house works differently to one placed in a high-rise with a security desk and lift, and we brief for both.

Traffic on the Sarjapur and Hosur Road approaches

HSR sits between two of the city’s busiest corridors. Peak-hour traffic on Sarjapur Road and the Silk Board junction can add real time to a caregiver’s commute, so we prioritise placing caregivers who already live in or near HSR, Bommanahalli, Begur Road or Hosa Road for shift reliability.

A cosmopolitan, mixed-language resident base

HSR has drawn residents from across India for two decades, so the caregiver pool needs range: Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and English are all in daily use across the sectors. We treat language match as a shortlisting criterion, not an afterthought.

How placement works

From the first call to the caregiver settling in.

  1. 1

A call about your parent, not a form

The first conversation covers your parent’s day: what time they wake, what medication they’re on, whether they manage stairs, what they eat, and what kind of company they enjoy. We use this to shortlist rather than send whoever is free that week.

  2. 2

Shortlisting with language match built in

HSR has residents from every part of India, so we shortlist against the language your parent is most comfortable in first, then experience and shift preference. You get 2 to 3 profiles, not one name to accept or reject.

  3. 3

An introduction visit before anything is confirmed

The caregiver meets your parent at home, usually with a family member present or on a call. This is where fit becomes obvious, whether the caregiver’s pace suits your parent, whether conversation flows, whether your parent is comfortable giving instructions.

  4. 4

A trial period to test the arrangement in practice

Routines look different on paper than they do in a Sector 3 apartment at 7 a.m. The trial period is for spotting friction early, a missed medication reminder, a mismatch in food preference, before it becomes a pattern.

  5. 5

Replacement if the fit is wrong

Sometimes the profile that looked right on paper does not work in the home. We treat this as a matching problem to fix, not a service failure to argue about, and move to the next shortlisted caregiver without restarting the process from scratch.
