You never pay us for a job. Registration and placement are free for helpers; the family pays us a one-time placement fee, and your full salary is paid directly to you with no monthly deductions. Before or during your first placement, you receive training aligned with HMCGSSC under Skill India. It covers housekeeping methods, kitchen hygiene, safe practices around children and elderly family members, and workplace etiquette. Training helps you qualify for better-paying roles; families consistently prefer trained candidates for childcare and elder care work.

Every placement is recorded in a written agreement. It commits the family to paying your agreed wage on time, giving you rest and a weekly off, and treating you with dignity. You always keep your own ID documents. During the placement, you are covered by a group personal-accident policy that EzyHelpers pays for.

We also support you in registering on the National Database of Unorganised Workers through the government’s e-Shram portal, which opens access to social security schemes. Women helpers in Bangalore can stay at Nest, our women-only hostel, between jobs or when an employer travels.

Keep three things ready: your Aadhaar card, an address proof, and a recent photograph. Experience certificates or the phone numbers of previous employers help too, because reference checks are part of our verification and good references move you up the shortlist.

Expect verification before you meet any family. We check your ID and address, run a court-record check, call your references, and interview you in person with a short skill assessment. This works in your favour: a verified profile is what makes families trust a candidate they have never met, and verified helpers get placed faster.

One honest note on location. Our placements today are in Bangalore and Bareilly. If you are from another state, most opportunities are live-in roles in Bangalore, where the family provides food and accommodation. If you prefer to stay in your home town and it is outside these two cities, we cannot place you yet, and we would rather tell you that now than after you register.

Your salary is agreed before you start, written into the placement agreement, and paid by the family directly to you. The agreement commits the family to paying on time and giving you a weekly off. If a family delays your salary or asks you to work outside what was agreed, call us; resolving these problems is part of what the family pays us for.

Matching works around your preferences, and you can refuse a role. If the distance is too far, the schedule clashes with your family duties, or the work is different from what you do best, say so and we look for the next opening. Refusing a match does not push you down the list. What does slow you down is being unreachable: families move quickly once they decide to hire, and a candidate whose phone is switched off for two days usually loses the position to someone who answered.

Live-in roles pay the most because food and accommodation are provided and the days are longer. Full-time roles let you go home every night. Part-time work suits helpers who want two or three households and control over their own hours, though income then depends on filling those slots. There is no single right answer; pick the pattern your family situation can support, and tell us honestly, because a placement that fights your circumstances rarely lasts past the second month.
