In short

Ezy Managed replaces the large one-time placement fee with a smaller onboarding fee and a fixed monthly management fee. You transfer the helper’s salary to EzyHelpers and we pay her the exact amount on a date agreed before she starts, with nothing deducted and our fee charged separately to you. The placement then stays managed: insurance cover, regular training and a named coordinator for as long as she is with you. It is available for live-in helpers, full-time day helpers, and care and nursing staff in Bangalore and Bareilly.

Two ways to hire

Standard placement, or Ezy Managed

Both are real services and both are honest. The difference is who runs the arrangement after the helper starts, and how you would rather pay for it.

One-time fee

Standard

₹25,000 plus 18% GST for a live-in placement, paid once.

Ezy Managed

A meaningfully lower one-time onboarding fee. Quoted on your call.

Ongoing fee

Standard

None. The placement fee is the whole commercial relationship.

Ezy Managed

A fixed monthly management fee, charged to you and shown separately from the salary. Over a full eleven months it adds up to more than the standard fee, not less.

Commitment

Standard

Eleven months only.

Ezy Managed

One month, three months or eleven months.

Replacements included

Standard

Three, over the eleven months.

Ezy Managed

Three on eleven months, one on three months, none on one month.

Who pays the helper

Standard

You pay the helper directly, in cash or by transfer, on whatever date suits.

Ezy Managed

You transfer the salary to EzyHelpers. We pay the helper the exact amount on the agreed date.

Deductions from salary

Standard

None. We take no share of it.*

Ezy Managed

None, and now with a monthly payment record that proves it.

Insurance

Standard

Group personal-accident cover up to ₹1,00,000 for the helper, funded by us. Included on every placement.

Ezy Managed

The same cover, plus we hold the policy details, tell the helper what she is covered for at onboarding, and handle the claim with her if it is ever needed.

Training

Standard

Verification and orientation before placement.

Ezy Managed

Regular training programmes for the length of the placement.

Day-to-day supervision

Standard

Replacement support if a placement does not work out.

Ezy Managed

A named coordinator, scheduled check-ins, and issues addressed before they become replacements.

Suits households who

Standard

Prefer to pay once and run the arrangement themselves.

Ezy Managed

Want the arrangement run for them, and want the helper to stay.

* On our standard placement service the helper is paid by you directly and EzyHelpers takes no share of her salary. Under Ezy Managed the salary is routed through us and paid to her in full on the agreed date, with our management fee charged to you separately.

Prefer to pay once and run things yourself? See the standard domestic help service.

What managed actually means

Six things we take off your hands

Managed is a word that gets used loosely. Here is exactly what it covers, in the order that matters.

Salary paid in full, on a fixed date

You transfer the month’s salary to EzyHelpers. We pay the helper the exact amount on the date agreed at the start of the placement. You receive confirmation each month, so the payment stops being a thing you have to remember and becomes a thing you can prove.

Nothing deducted from what she earns

We have never taken a share of a helper’s salary and Ezy Managed does not change that. What changes is that there is now a record of it. Our management fee is charged to you, shown separately, and never funded out of her wages.

Insurance cover, funded by us

The helper is covered by group personal-accident insurance of up to ₹1,00,000 for accidental death and hospitalisation, for the duration of the placement. EzyHelpers pays the premium. Nothing is recovered from her salary for it, and the cover, its exclusions and how to claim are explained to both of you at onboarding.

Regular training, not just an orientation

Training continues through the placement rather than stopping at induction. Sessions cover kitchen and food safety, appliance handling, child and elder safety, hygiene protocol and communication with the household.

A named coordinator you can call

One person owns your placement. Scheduled check-ins with both sides, a single number for anything that needs sorting, and small frictions handled while they are still small rather than after someone has decided to leave.

Continuity and replacement

Leave, illness and family emergencies are handled by us rather than left to you. If a placement genuinely is not working, replacement is part of the managed relationship instead of a separate negotiation.

How the money moves

Less on day one. A fee every month after.

Three steps, and no part of it is hidden from either you or the helper.

01

A smaller amount on day one

Instead of the full placement fee at the start, you pay a reduced one-time onboarding fee that covers sourcing, verification, matching and the paperwork. It sits meaningfully below the standard live-in placement fee, which is what puts a verified helper within reach of households that would rather not commit a large sum on day one.

02

You fund the salary before the agreed date

Each month you transfer the helper’s full salary to EzyHelpers, along with the management fee, on a schedule fixed at the start. Both amounts appear separately on the invoice. There is no bundling and no rounding.

03

We pay the helper the exact amount, on the date agreed

The helper receives the whole salary, on the same date every month, into her own account. She knows the date before she starts. You get confirmation once it is done. Nothing is withheld, delayed or adjusted for any reason on our side.

Where our margin comes from. The monthly management fee, charged to you and printed as its own line on the invoice. That is the entire commercial relationship. We do not earn anything from the helper’s salary, and we do not want to, because a service whose margin depends on shaving wages cannot also promise the helper a fixed and complete payment.

Is it cheaper? Over a full year, no. You pay less at the start, and then a fixed amount every month. Run it out over eleven months and Ezy Managed costs more in total than the one-time standard fee. We would rather you did that sum now than feel misled in month nine. What the monthly fee buys is the salary handled and evidenced, insurance for the helper, training through the placement, and someone whose job is to keep it working. If none of that is worth a monthly fee to you, the standard placement is the better deal, and we will say so on the call.

The salary commitment

Five promises we make to the helper,in writing.

These sit in the agreement that both you and the helper sign before the placement starts. She is told all five in her own language.

  • 01The helper is paid the exact salary agreed with you. Not a rupee less.
  • 02The payment date is fixed at the start of the placement and does not move.
  • 03Our management fee is charged to you and is never taken out of her wages.
  • 04No commission, no processing charge and no recovery is deducted from the helper.
  • 05The helper is told her salary, her payment date and her ₹1,00,000 accident cover before she starts, in a language she understands.

Why paying the helper properly is also the selfish choice

Fair treatment reads as charity until you count what a broken placement costs you.

Predictable pay keeps people

The most common reason a good helper leaves is not money in the abstract. It is uncertainty about when money arrives. A fixed date removes the single largest source of friction in domestic employment.

A record protects both sides

A monthly payment trail settles the arguments that would otherwise become resignations, and gives the helper something she can show when she needs proof of income.

Retention is your benefit too

Every replacement costs you a fortnight of disruption, a new person learning your kitchen and your medicines, and the whole thing starting again. Managed placements are built to not need replacing.

Who you can hire under Ezy Managed

Long-term placements, where continuity is worth paying for.

Live-in helpers

Maids, cooks and housekeepers who stay with the household. This is where managed help does the most work, because live-in placements involve the largest salaries and the longest relationships.

Live-in maids

Full-time day helpers

Eight to twelve hour day help who go home at night. Same managed arrangement: fixed payment date, insurance, training and a coordinator, without the accommodation question.

Full-time maids

Care and nursing staff

Elder care attendants, home nursing staff and postnatal helpers from the care side of EzyHelpers. Households running long care arrangements benefit most from continuity, which is exactly what managed supervision protects.

Care services

Part-time helpers are not covered by Ezy Managed. The salaries and visit patterns are too small and too variable for a monthly management fee to be worth what it costs, so part-time placements continue on the standard service.

From enquiry to a running placement

  1. 1

Tell us the household and the arrangement

Sub-area, family size, languages spoken at home, whether you need live-in or day help, and what the work actually involves on an ordinary Tuesday. Fifteen minutes on the phone usually settles it.

  2. 2

We shortlist and you meet them

Verified helpers matched on language, experience and the geography that makes the commute survivable. You meet the shortlist before anything is committed.

  3. 3

    Onboarding and the agreement

The onboarding fee, the monthly management fee, the salary, the payment date and the insurance cover are all written down and signed by both sides before the helper starts.

  4. 4

    The placement runs

Salary funded by you, paid in full by us on the fixed date. Training scheduled through the year. Your coordinator checks in with both sides and handles what comes up.

  5. 5

    Reviewed, not forgotten

Periodic reviews of how the arrangement is working, adjustments where the household has changed, and replacement handled by us if it is genuinely needed.

Tell us your area and what the household needs

Fifteen minutes on the phone is usually enough to tell you whether Ezy Managed or the standard placement is the better fit, and what each one would cost you.
