The short answer
Home physiotherapy in Bangalore is priced per session, and the therapist’s qualification decides most of the price. An entry-level orthopaedic physiotherapist (BPT) for back pain or a knee replacement charges about ₹700 to ₹1,500 a visit. A neuro physiotherapist with a master’s degree, the person you want after a stroke or for Parkinson’s, charges ₹1,200 to ₹2,500. Geriatric sessions for fall prevention and post-hospital weakness sit in between at ₹1,000 to ₹1,800.
A standard session is 45 minutes. Ten-session packages cost 8 to 12 percent less per session. Home visits cost ₹200 to ₹500 more than a clinic per session, which for most seniors is less than the cab fare and the caregiver’s time to get there and back.
The monthly total depends far more on frequency than on the per-session rate. Stroke rehab at five sessions a week is a different budget from back pain at two a week, which is why the table further down gives a course estimate by condition.

Price table
Home physiotherapy is priced per session, and the therapist’s qualification moves the price more than the condition does. A neuro physiotherapist with a master’s degree charges roughly double an entry-level orthopaedic therapist.

Ranges are what Bangalore providers and rental marketplaces publicly listed as of September 2026 (Samarth Community, Portea, Medifyhome). They are market figures, not EzyHelpers rates. EzyHelpers quotes after a short call once we know the patient, the duration and the address, so the number you get is for your case, not a brochure average.

Packages
Home or clinic
| Factor | At home | At a clinic |
|---|---|---|
| Cost per session | ₹200 to ₹500 higher | Lower per session |
| Travel | None; the therapist comes to you | Cab both ways, often with a caregiver: ₹300 to ₹800 per visit in Bangalore traffic |
| Equipment | Portable kit: bands, weights, TENS; no parallel bars or gym machines | Full rehab gym |
| Adherence | Higher; sessions rarely missed | Missed sessions are common for patients who cannot travel easily |
| Best for | Post-surgery, stroke, seniors, anyone who cannot get into a car comfortably | Sports injuries, athletes, late-stage rehab needing equipment |
For a senior who needs a caregiver to accompany them, a clinic visit in Bangalore typically costs the session fee plus ₹300 to ₹800 in cabs and two to three hours of someone’s time. The home premium is smaller than that, and the missed-session rate at clinics is what quietly stretches recovery. If the patient also needs a walker or a hospital bed for the recovery period, see equipment rental and home nursing costs.
