How this service is delivered
In one paragraph
A nurse visit is a timed appointment at your home by a GNM or B.Sc nurse for one clinical task: an injection, an IV infusion, a wound dressing, a catheter or Ryles tube change, a stoma bag change, nebulisation, a vitals check or a blood sample. You book it for the next day or later, the nurse works to the doctor’s prescription, brings sterile consumables where needed and leaves a written note. A course of injections or antibiotics is booked as a series of daily visits.
Why book by the visit
Most clinical tasks at home take under an hour.
You should be able to book exactly that.
An insulin injection, a dressing change after surgery, a five-day antibiotic infusion, a monthly catheter change. None of these needs a live-in nurse, and most families in Bangalore end up either driving to a clinic for each one or asking a relative to attempt it. A single nurse visit covers the task, on prescription, with the right sterile technique, and ends. If the doctor has prescribed a course, we book the same nurse for each day where the roster allows.

What to expect when you book a visit.
We confirm the nurse and a time window the evening before. If the prescription is unclear, our care coordinator calls the family, or with permission the treating doctor, before the visit is confirmed.

Who comes to the door

Every visiting nurse holds a GNM or B.Sc Nursing qualification checked against the original certificate and is registered with a state nursing council. Before a nurse is rostered for a procedure, a senior nurse confirms they have performed it on real patients.

You keep the written note for the doctor. For a course, the next day’s window is confirmed before the nurse leaves.
