The complete guide to oxygen concentrator rental.

Who needs an oxygen concentrator

  • COPD, asthma and chronic respiratory patients
  • Post-COVID and pneumonia recovery

  • Refundable security deposit on rentals
  • Free pickup at the end of the rental

How it works

From enquiry to oxygen flowing at home.

    1. Enquiry

Call or fill the form and share the doctor’s prescribed flow rate, or the discharge summary if this follows a hospital stay.

    2. Delivery

A technician brings the concentrator to your home, usually the same day for urgent and post-discharge cases across Bangalore.

    3. Setup

The flow rate is set to the prescription, the humidifier bottle is filled, and the family is trained on safe operation and what the alarms mean.

    4. Pickup

Call to arrange collection when the rental ends. We check the unit and refund the deposit once it is confirmed to be in working condition.

Before you rent

What to check before oxygen therapy starts at home.

Oxygen therapy is not something to guess at. A few checks before delivery keep it safe and effective.

  • Confirm the prescribed flow rate with the doctor, running a concentrator at the wrong setting under- or over-delivers oxygen
  • Choose 5 LPM for standard therapy and 10 LPM if the doctor has prescribed a higher flow, the wrong capacity strains the machine or the patient
  • Check that the room has a stable power point close to the bed and is free of open flames or smoking, oxygen supports combustion
  • Ask whether a backup plan is needed for power cuts, since a concentrator stops producing oxygen the moment power is lost
  • Keep the discharge summary or prescription handy so our team can match the right unit and delivery accessories

Using it safely at home

Oxygen supports fire. Treat the room accordingly.

  • Keep the concentrator at least a few feet from open flames, gas stoves, candles and smoking, oxygen-enriched air ignites more easily
  • Refill the humidifier bottle with clean water as instructed, running it dry lets the patient breathe unhumidified air, which dries the nose and throat
  • Do not change the flow-rate dial yourself, adjustments should come from the doctor after reviewing the patient
  • Keep the air intake vents unblocked and the unit away from walls or curtains that restrict airflow
  • Call our helpline immediately if the alarm sounds continuously or the oxygen output seems low, do not wait to see if it resolves on its own

Where this fits

Pairs with respiratory and home-ICU care.

An oxygen concentrator treats one part of a bigger picture. Most patients on oxygen therapy need other support around it too.

Patients with COPD or chronic respiratory conditions usually need continuing respiratory and COPD care alongside the concentrator, and some also need a BiPAP or CPAP machine for nighttime breathing support. Home-ICU setups typically pair oxygen with a patient monitor to track SpO₂ continuously, and a hospital bed that allows the patient to sit upright, which usually makes breathing easier.
