What to check before the driver takes the wheel
We verify the documents before assignment. These are the things worth checking yourself at the door, whoever you book through.
Licence and ID
Every driver we assign has had the driving licence, Aadhaar and address checked. Ask to see the licence when the driver arrives; a valid LMV licence is the minimum for driving a private car.
Experience with your car type
A driver used to a hatchback with a manual gearbox may not be comfortable in an automatic SUV, and the reverse is also true. Mention the make and gearbox when you book so the match is right.
Badge for commercial driving
A transport badge is needed for driving commercial (yellow-board) vehicles. For your own white-board car it is optional, though drivers who hold one have usually driven for a living for several years.
Sobriety and rest
For a wedding or a night drive, the point of hiring a driver is that someone stays sober. For an outstation run, a driver who has not driven the previous night is safer on the Mysore road at 5 am.

Can I book a driver for half a day?
Yes. Tell us the reporting time and roughly when you expect to be done, for example a morning hospital visit or an evening function. Half-day bookings are common for airport drops and clinic appointments. If the day runs longer than planned, the extra hours are counted as overtime at the rate agreed at booking.
How does an outstation trip with a night halt work?
The driver comes to your home on the departure day, drives your car to the destination and stays for as many nights as the trip needs. You arrange the driver’s stay and meals at the destination; most hotels and homestays have a driver room or a nearby option. The night halt is included in the charge confirmed on the call.
Who pays for fuel, tolls and parking?
You do. The charge covers the driver only. Fuel is in your car, FASTag tolls are debited from your tag, and parking is paid as it comes. Give the driver a small float for parking if you will not be in the car.
Do you have drivers for automatic cars?
Yes, though tell us the gearbox and the car model when you book. Some drivers have driven manuals for years and are less familiar with automatics, and some have only driven automatics. Matching on the car type at booking avoids an awkward first ten minutes.
Is it safe for women to travel alone or late at night with the driver?
Each driver has had the licence, Aadhaar and address verified, and you receive the driver’s name and number before the trip. For late-night bookings, share the driver’s details with a family member and keep the trip on the route you agreed. If anything is off, call the number on this page and we will step in.
What if I need to cancel or change the time?
Call or WhatsApp us as soon as the plan changes. A cancellation made well before the reporting time is normally not charged. Once the driver has already left for your home, a cancellation charge may apply; we will tell you what it is on the call when you book.
Can I get a driver the same day?
Often, yes, especially for bookings made in the morning. Same-day availability depends on your area and the time you call. For an outstation trip or an early-morning airport drop, booking the previous day gives us time to match the right driver to your car and route.
